A series of 18 patterns inspired by medieval marginalia with embroidery instructions and instructions for making a quilt, a cushion and a tote bag. Each pattern is 15 cm ( 6”) square and can be traced onto linen and embroidered in crewel wool. The quilt pattern is a QAYG (Quilt As You Go) pattern and has been quilted with cotton sashiko thread.
