Miriam is a wonderful mother, architect, seamstress and quilter from Nigeria in Africa. She has access to fabulous African fabrics from the local markets. She's running fantastic quilt challenges using African fabrics. I love these fabrics and I love hearing about Africa and its wonderfully rich culture and traditions. Anupama Rao is a wonderfully talented artist and seamstress from Kerala, India who has recently moved to the UK. Her paintings are vibrant with colour and movement.
